Job Description for the "Project Manager":
Lead the team as the Project Manager and take full project life cycle ownership. Must have proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Responsible to initiate, plan, organize and execute software development projects.
Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
Coordinate with Product Management, Software Development and QA Team members for understanding/gathering the product requirements and pass the same to the team.
Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel, and ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on.
Leads daily standup meetings with members of the Software Development and QA Teams to ensure that projects remain on task
Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.
Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication.
Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices.
Monitor staff performance and complete performance reviews.
Act as an internal quality control check for the project.
Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends.
